Voice Box is a free voice changer by Sanpetra Labs (Utah, USA). There is no account and no ads.
When you record or talk live, the microphone sound is changed on your own phone and saved only in this browser on this phone. It is never sent to us. Sharing a clip only happens when you tap Share and choose where it goes.
When you use Type it, the words you typed (up to 300 characters) and your language are sent to our server, which uses Cloudflare Workers AI to turn them into speech and sends the sound back. We don't keep the words or the sound. To keep one phone from using up the free daily allowance, the server counts how many times each internet address used Type it that day. The address is stored only as a one-way scramble that changes every day, and the counts are deleted when the day is over. Like any website, our host (Cloudflare) keeps short-lived technical logs of requests, which can include your internet address.
Voice Box doesn't ask for names, emails or ages, and has no ads or tracking. Parents: typed words go to our server as described above; everything else stays on the phone.
Settings › Erase everything on this phone deletes every clip, saved voice and setting. Clearing the browser's site data does the same.
